I am Dan creator of Ragadabah. This website's made to show my work in its various shapes and sizes. I mostly like to use computers to make things but not all the time, combining thing's is much more fun. Pencils give great lines and computer's give great colours and so much of my work uses both hand drawn and digital work. Currently I'm working on publishing comic's and producing animation's, though have recently worked large scale print's, producing books and CD and flyer design some observable on the projects and gallery pages.
I graduated from Contemporary Art Practice at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2008 and am currently looking for long term work in the game's industry. Throughout my career as an artist I have become experienced with Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Flash and Dreamweaver and have spent considerable time with computers, their workings are almost second nature to me.
My work combines my interests in video games, animation, and technology, and blends it with life, where in some protracted way I end up making a bathos parody of the world around me. What leads me to create work, which take's up most of my time and is done mostly for myself, and rarely for money (that is when I'm lucky enough to get a commission) is a compulsion to make good looking things; because when I have finished something and you can sit back and look upon you creation and say, "This is amazing," you feel just great.
